The questions they ask...

Tonight, Bette told me she knew who the first two people on earth were. I asked her who and of course she said Adam and Eve. I then asked her who created Adam and Eve. She replied God. Then she said-"Who created God?" I then decided to read in the book of Genesis. So we started in the beginning and I read- In the beginning God created... I told her God created heaven and earth, so he has always been here. And with her childlike faith she said that is cool- having absolutely no doubt. I wish it was as simple as that to explain the Bible to adults.
